MPD Dental - All About MPD
The Maryland Preventive Dentistry program, also known as MPD Dental, has been in business serving Central Maryland since the fall of 1993.
MPD Dental originally came into existence as a result of the total lack of individual dental insurance at that time. We were one of the first to offer a way for people to save money on their dental care when there was no dental insurance coverage available from many employers.
Over the years, the lack of adequate dental insurance coverage for people has continued to grow as a universal problem as employers become more and more consious of high health care costs for their employees and decide to save money by eliminating dental benefits for their employees.
Quite simply, we negotiate significantly reduced dental costs for our members with our network of well over 100 participating general dentists and specialists.
Our members pay less for their dental work and without the need for submitting claims to an insurance company.
